MEASURABLE CERTAINTY
Engineering
SBE has its own engineering department, applying 3D scans and FEM simulations, meaning we design everything in-house, from components to complete factory layouts, ready for operation. We provide tailored solutions from concept to final delivery, with our experienced engineers guiding projects with expertise and a pragmatic approach.

NVPP
Nereda Verdygo Package Plant
In 2021, SBE, together with Haskoning and Waterschap Limburg, won the prestigious national engineering award “De Vernufteling.”
The Nereda Verdygo Package Plant is a modular, compact wastewater treatment system designed to offer customized water purification solutions.

Einstein-Telescope (ET)
SBE has three opportunities to play an important role in the ET project.
1. Beam pipes vacuumtubes
Based on SBE’s expertise in piping technology and our unique collar extraction development, SBE is now collaborating in an open-source project with the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH – Aachen) to explore alternative concepts for Ultra-High Vacuum Tubes, known as Beam Pipes, for ET.
This project aims to contribute to a potential mega public project with a cross-border focus: the Einstein Telescope (ET). SBE is supported by the province of Limburg and the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund and Interreg Meuse-Rhine (NLBE-DE).
SBE is dedicated to finding sustainable solutions and contributing to a circular ET project

2. NVPP Water Treatment
In constructing this underground machine, circular water management must also be considered. The modular, portable NVPP water treatment plant could be crucial for this purpose.
3. Storopack Drainage System
Together with STOROpack DRAINplus, SBE developed a combined drainage infiltration system using recycled EPS chips to prevent groundwater from infiltrating infrastructure.

Einstein-Telescope (ET)
